My eyes became sore and gritty

by -

These hurt my eyes. I work 12 hours shifts. By the end of the shift, my eyes were so gritty and sore. This doesn't happen with Acuvue Oasys. I was sort of bummed because I wanted to move to a monthly lens.

Not Multi-focal

by -

First let me say that I find these lenses incredibly comfortable and my vision, at distance, is very clear. However, this is supposed to be a multi-focal lens. For nearly 10 years I have been wearing a regular AcuVue in one eye, and a multi-focal Acuvue in the other, and it has worked wonderfully, giving me good distance vision as well as the ability to read small print up close. These Air Optix are useless for that. In spite of paying twice as much for the multi-focals, they perform no differently than the regular lens in the other eye; I can no longer read print up close at all. Despite the comfort and clarity of these lenses, I'm afraid I going to have to switch back to AcuVue so I don't have to carry and dig for reading glasses everywhere.
