Buying contacts without a prescription
Looking to buy contact lenses online?
Do you live in the United States?
Your contact lens prescription has expired?
Here are the facts that you need to know as a contact lens wearer
Under the "Contact Lens Rule" issued by the FTC, online contact lens sellers are required to ask for a valid prescription when a consumer decides to purchase contact lenses from an online retailer. We provide an easy method of uploading your contact lens prescription in our checkout process. You also have the option of emailing or faxing a copy of your prescription after you place your order. Once we have a copy of your contact lens prescription, we are required to contact the doctor/clinic who prescribed your prescription to verify accuracy before we can process and ship your order.
Verifying contact lens prescriptions
Under the "Contact Lens Rule", if the doctor/clinic (who prescribed your prescription) fails to communicate with the contact lens seller, then the contact lens prescription is considered valid and verified. This means we can go ahead and ship the contacts to you.
